It took a little longer than usual to get this year's orders all painted. That's because I did an especially good job on them. Or maybe I just procrastinated too long ha ha. Or some of both. Well folks, that's my daughter Kayley and she gets to be on here 'cause she's my daughter and the official lure assembler of the Terminator™ Muskie Lures Company and that's her first fish of the Esox persuasion and she rocks and that's all cool enough to get on here! The other thing that's cool is that pic was taken in my boat Slimetime on Lake St. Clair. It's finally fixed and back to it's normal deadly self. It's about time!!!!! That pike was just the practice fish for my repaired boat and my kid. Now they are both ready to move up to bigger and badder things...

Archived 10/19/07 (and Terminator™ Lures status) OK - This sucks. Just when all those giant muskies are getting caught the RocketBoat Slimetime's lower unit bit the big one - and it's still not repaired. According to the Merc dealer in Brighton who will remain nameless the parts are on backorder. And once again, those damn rabbits made a nest under my boat. Maybe I can't go fishing but at least I can make lures. For all you guys with orders due this month, they are coming along good. All the bodies are machined and I have half of them painted. Hopefully I'll be finished painting by Sunday, September 22. If you don't get a "Lure Done" email by Monday the 23rd then let me know. I was hoping to retire from the musky lure manufacturing business but I can't 'cause this blown up lower unit is going to wipe out my slush fund. "Hey Rocket, I dont have a report for you but I was wondering if you have ever read this article about Art Lawtons fish. I grew up a mile from him and this fish did exist whether people believe it or not. Everyone over the age of 60 remembers it cause he kept it in a freezer for quite a while to show it off. Any way read it, you should find it very interesting.
And some more world record holders are listed below. Most are also in various stages of disputedness.

Archived 06/14/07 Everyone's order is complete and the last "Lure Done" notices were sent out May 21. Reminders were sent out June 1. If you have a confirmed order and didn't hear from me then either I screwed up and mistyped your email address or you changed it. Send me an email ASAP because your lures are done and they are getting hungry! Also, I have a few extra bodies left over and I am thinking about making a few more lures. If you want to get some then keep your eye on this page. When I get the rest of these finished shipments out I'll post a link to an open order page. It's gonna be a quickie. Over the last few days I finally got around to uploading a bunch of new old Guest Photos. No, I wasn't just lazy. Well, laziness was part of it. I have other halfway good excuses too but the biggest hold-up was file sizes. My old Win95 computer on dial-up (honest ha ha!!!!) wasn't doing too good with 3MB email attachments so I was saving all the emails in a folder pending an upgrade. The folder got too big so I bit the bullet and did it anyhow. There's lots more big fish in there now, and if you sent a picture chances are it's there too. And I'll try to do better in the future blah blah blah...

Archived 05/31/07 Feel like going fishing? Me too. But I can't 'cause I am making lures instead. Well actually last weekend I did take my Rocketkid down to the neighborhood pond for some bluegill fishing. She was reeling in a dinky one and this Northern took a lunge at it and freaked her all out. Maybe I should develop a bluegill pattern Terminator™... Anyhow, when I am not getting outfished 22 to 7 by a 16 year old girl I have been diligently painting away. I have sent out a bunch of "Lure Done" notices already and next week I will be sending out more. I expect to have 12 more orders painted this weekend and all of them done by around May 20. If you have an open order check your email every so often. Once I get the last ones painted I will post an official notice on here too. And thanks for all your patience and cooperation.

Archived 01/15/07 If you want some Terminators™ at the old cheapdog prices this is your last chance. I plan on making about 400 lures this spring and as of yesterday all orders placed have been confirmed and I am close to but not quite sold out. If you order ASAP you can still get whatever you want and at the same old prices I've been charging for the last four years. If you already placed an order you should have a confirmation email. If you're thinking about getting some Terminators™ then click the handy link below before they are all gone.  Terminate Me  After the rest of these 400 are sold unfortunately I am going to have to implement some price increases. Sorry, but now I am paying $3.25/gallon for kerosene to heat my garage and almost $300/gallon for that clear urethane topcoat - and everything else costs way more too.
